Trouble Brewing
Trouble Brewing 2025, an updated and expanded version of Vital Strategies’ 2018 report, sought to clarify and articulate the issues surrounding alcohol consumption and provide arguments that advocates can use to press for coherent, effective alcohol policies around the world. Previously accompanied by handsome, ominous illustrations cleverly aligned with each chapter topic this latest edition of Trouble Brewing is looked to tastefully expand on the harms of alcohol and visually represent the dangers associated with consumption, the powerful industry tied to its production and the impetus for a future with more effective policy.
Targeting policy makers, alcohol policy advocates, and the general public I had the pleasure to develop illustrations that accommodate the reports key messages and captivate reverence from our target audiences. Working with the illustrator, Eduardo Ramón Trejo, we established a standard of highly engaging visual illustrations that work in and out of context from the report to be utilized in social media promotion and communication materials.
